Why Food Safety Certification Matters
Whether you are seeking mandatory compliance under Nevada law or looking to protect your business, certified training is a vital asset.
Protect Public Health
Proper training dramatically reduces the risk of foodborne illnesses, keeping your guests safe and healthy.
Safeguard Reputation
One health code violation or negative review can hurt business. Certification proves your commitment to cleanliness.
Minimize Food Waste
Understand temperature controls, storage standards, and cross-contamination to significantly reduce food inventory spoilage.
Nevada State Legal Requirements
Food establishments must have at least one Person in Charge (PIC) who is a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM).
This certification must be obtained through an ANSI-CFP accredited program (such as ServSafe or NRFSP) and renewed every 5 years to remain active and valid.
